Choose the right plant
Record light direction, useful floor or bed space, average temperature, humidity, and the time you can realistically spend on care. Match those conditions to the plant rather than forcing a decorative choice into an unsuitable location.
Plant profile checklist
Confirm mature size, light range, preferred soil texture, watering pattern, feeding period, pet safety, dormancy, and common pests. Keep the nursery label until the plant is positively identified.
First 30 days
Quarantine new plants for 10–14 days, inspect both leaf surfaces, check drainage, and avoid repotting immediately unless the soil is waterlogged or pests are present.
